Of course they did. Anything less than absolute flash just wouldn’t be Lamborghini’s style.

Because Lamborghini is Lamborghini, the Veneno roadster made it’s first public appearance aboard the Italian Nave Cavour aircraft carrier in Abu Dhabi. Lamborghini has pulled from the design of jet aircraft for the design of their cars since the Reventon. Remember that thing’s dash board? Even their ultimate car, the Egoista, is pretty much a fighter jet missing the ability to fly. Honestly, if they could’ve found a way to put wings and a turbine on the Veneno, they would’ve.

We’ve seen the car is press photos already, but this is it’s official, real world, debut. Like the normal Veneno (if you could call that car “normal”) it packs a 750hp V12 nestled in a Lamborghni Aventador chassis. The difference between this one and the original—besides being topless—is that they’ll be more of them. Lamborghini is putting together nine of these things as opposed to the coupe’s three.

Of course, the only way you’ll be getting your hands on one is if you have enough money to buy an aircraft carrier. They’re going for $4.5 million. Your average millionaire need not apply.
