Had a blast at Lime Rock yesterday. First time tracking the turbo with a custom COBB tune. Was able to datalog the entire event, literally see how the car is running. Throttle response was perfect, boost was predictable and incredibly strong. Now I can send the tune back and tweak it specifically for my car! How cool is that??

Weather was cold and a little wet, but we made the best of it.

Hey, I used the ABR 93 octane tune, with sport plus.

I was going to try the 93 SBR tune and then try the 100 octane ABR, and log all three to see the differences, but because of the weather and limited run time I stuck with one tune.

 

How did you do in comparison with other cars running pump?

 

Well, I was fastest in my group. I believe I also had the top speed of the day. Keep in mind, there is no measurement tool or data collected by the track at these events, its strictly a DE event. But in speaking with others, I'm pretty sure I had the top speed by quite a margin, on stock Pirelli. If I had some grippier tires, I wouldn't be so scared going down the downhill and would prob have another 5-10 mph at the end of the straightaway

 

I was at the event and jmorgan911 easily had the fastest car there. As mentioned, there are no speed recording devices at the track however his speeds on the front straight were easily tops at the 2 day event. Great fun had by all...!
