Painted Platinum Satin wheel option, anyone have pics of it?

Hello all, I was looking for anyone who may have ordered their 991 with the Painted Platinum Satin wheel option? It is hard to tell what color they actually are on the Configurator, which by the way if you have never seen it or tried it in 3D and I just discovered the tab to make is full screen, a great way to try different combinations.

Anyway I wonder if is the same color they use on the GT3?

The other option is having them painted the exact shade of grey but that would be an expensive, painful option intead of just ordering from the Factory!

FrstPorsche is infamous around these parts
I have them and they look great, same color as GT3 wheels also. They look good against almost any color. What I like about them is they are darker for a more aggressive look but not black and hide all the detail of the wheel like most black rims do.

I have them as well and love them. They match Agate very well. They also hide some of the brake dust....

wheels when clean look great (picture), if left alone the brake dust will add a darker color and sometimes I think look better than clean......

IMO, apart from the sport techno's they are the best wheel choice that Porsche ofer at the present. Go with the factory option as the coating is of a very high quality and remains blemish free with minimal maintenance.

Thanks, I just figured that out and have found a few silver cars, yes they look great, the standard silver is a bit boring and blingish, the platinum looks more serious and agressive, thanks for the input!

Thanks, I planned on silver with the PCCB so looks like a good contrast!

What is the option number for the girl in blue? I can seem to find it on the order form, is it in the "Exterior" section and does she detail and do windows? Baahhhh!!

OK, seriously, thanks for the pic, the platinum was the final touch and is a good contrast with the silver! Silver with silver wheels is too much! I have been playing around with it on the Configurator and it looks awesome!!

I may have to play with changing the aluminum pieces with carbon to blend with the shade of the wheel!

I think they look fantastic on almost every exterior colour!

They can look lighter or darker depending on the viewing angle and lighting.

The ONLY issue with Platinum wheels (I had them on my coupe, got black painted on my C4S Cab) is that they are almost impossible to match. If you goof up and curb a wheel, it's a very expensive replacement - the Porsche dealer didn't even want to TRY to fix it as they said it'd never match. (I got a chip in one)
