I was under the same dilemma when I ordered my Forgeline GA1R's and ended up going with the gloss. Talking to others that went with the matte color, they described how much harder it was to keep them clean. The two people that I am speaking of went to gloss black on their next set of wheels. I love my gloss black with my alpine silver car.
Just dropped off my HRE centers to be PC'd in gloss black. I really wanted to be different and go with gold or bronze, but I'm tired of cleaning my wheels after every drive.
Powdercoated gloss black lips with matte black face
Picked these Iforged wheels up from ZulaRacerX and sent them out to get powdercoated at 168 Motoring in Torrance and got wrapped them in Michelins. They were pretty awesome taking care of me. I thought they came out really awesome and it's a great look in my opinion. In the daytime when the wheels are spinning and the sun is shining on the lips it looks great. They do need to be kept clean or they don't look so great. Some of the close up pics you can see they aren't in the cleanest condition.
After driving a couple of days the break and road dust put the black from glossy look to matte. I did like it more.
I would advise you,if u are uncertan, to buy some plasti dip stuff matte black and glossifier too. But your car is artic silver i guess so black will look hard in contrast. Go with athracite or some dark grey.
My car is meridian silver so a bit darker though.

Chrome and silver is probably the most over done combo ever lol.
I am not a fan of chrome.......
agree, chrome is cheese whiz, and blk/silver is the most played out color combo since blk/white lol. chrome lips on blk wheels are gettoe but all that said..
silver or matte graphite wheels or as last resort ( mine ) black plastidipped X silver/blk car is ok. it turns heads still but i'm sick of it. I'm gonna go with some graphite grey against a silver/blk car.
I like the grays/silver and while the black can look nice with certain colors its much overdone and outdated in my opinion. Back in the 80s we were running black wheels.
