New GT2 at $150K

Offered to me only by a dealer who is a good friend, and whom I have bought many 911s from. Should I go for it? I already like my modified 997 TT and GT3RS.

I am crazy to pass up this price? Seems like the dealers are really taking a loss on this great car.

LOL Won't be quite the same hit if you'd bought it at $225K.

Unload the TT and go for the GT2, $150K is too good to pass up and you'd spend way more than that getting the TT to the GT2 level, not to mention it'd retain its value a lot better. Can't see any downsides to it except trying to unload the TT in the meantime.

Getting a great deal on a Gt2 is fantastic but the specifics of this deal pit you with the obstacle of taking a loss on one of two cars that you already have and enjoy .

Tough choice .

Is the Gt2 a new car or used? Is your 997tt stock? Something tells me that your gut feeling is to pause and wait. After all .. you can always buy a Gt2 some other time when YOU are ready and if it costs more at that time you can weigh it into the decision .

Sometimes a great opportunity comes up when you are commited and it's really up to you to decide when the right time for a Gt2 is for you.

It may be now .
It may not be.

Good luck in whatever choice you make.

Why take a loss on your current car?? Look at the current price on the 996 GT2. Now if you buy it and flip it for a few bucks then go for it. You have two great cars. Turbo for a daily and GT3 for the track.
