Question What's the deal with the color "Pearl White - Porsche"?

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, although I've been "trolling" here for over a year. I'm in the market for a '07, '08 Vantage. I really like the Stratus white and Morning Frost, but recently one showed up with an interesting color called "Porsche Pearl White. Has anyone seen this color in person? In some pictures it actually looks brownish yellow. Let me know your thoughts on this color and if you have any pics please share because I could barely find any!

Here are the pics:

I looked at one in Georgia with that exact color and it was spectacular ! I think that color could make a ford fiesta look classy. It is not white, and not "cream" , it is silvery but warm, not blue or cold

Thanks for sharing that. It does look classy. I guess my problem is that the paint itself is a bit warm, but the wheels are silver/cold. The contrast looks funny in pictures. Plus I can't get my wife to stop calling it yellow.

Thanks! That was the only other Porsche pearl I could find, besides some DB9's. I was hoping someone here owned one!

It looks ugly in this shot IMO

You are dead right, it can look ugly in some photos. But the paint and color is brilliant and those wheels are wrong for it. The color is even better if it has a Bitter Chocolate and Sandstorm interior, or Lord's Red, or Iron Ore...which it probably doesn't.

As for the wheels, they should be the Anthracite gray color that mine has. But that can be remedied.

So what color is the interior?

I'd agree with the comment to change the wheels to anthracite like mine. It would be an easy fix

The paint looks good, even if the inside is the basic black

The interior is all obsidian black, which looks nice. My current car has gloss black wheels on it now, and I'm REAL tired of the darker look. I was hoping to get some aftermarket silver wheels, maybe with a machined finish like ADV1 or HRE's. I'm thinking maybe I should stay away from this pearl color if that's the path i'm going down.

Here are some interior shots:

And one more exterior:

Well, HRE's are gonna look good, unless they're purple

Maybe just something like these, doublelow7's famous brushed tinted HRE's would be enough to change the original wheels look, without being too dark for you.

This is all personal taste, but I think a white car needs something other than silver

Doubelow7's car is practically the reason I decided on a Vantage lol. Here's a quick PS with the HRE's.

Still not sure how I feel about the color though :\

Is that the one at EuroMotors Bethesda MD for sale that they have on EBAY?

Changing wheels is huge.

You can have my HRE's when you pry my cold, dead hands from them....or is that supposed to be my gun in the closet?

Now (20"ers)

Thanks for pics/videos everyone, keep posting until I make up my mind lol.

Nothing wrong with wraps, they make sense for some people. I agree the Bentley looks crap, but not b/c of the wrap.

I've owned nice wheels before (Volk Racing GTS) so I know the feeling of love. HRE's prices are on another level though. Still have the Volks, doubt they'll fit!!!

Pic here
