2001 996 Turbo Arctic Silver
my nov 2001 arctic silver 996 tt is up for sale:
the chassis/body has 45k miles, but on my last warranty inspection it was deemed the engine had a viscuous head so i was given a new engine direct from Porsche, installed by Carlsen Porsche at 25k miles so the engine only has 20k miles.
the car has seen about 5 track days at a nice but not killer pace
it has the following mods:
ma shaw gt2 deck with carbon wing
nr auto front bumper
oem gt3 seats with arctic silver backs
tequipment roll bar
sharkwerks extinguisher/mount
schroth 5 point belts
remus exhaust
oem gt2 wheels
kw variant 3 coil overs
lots of carbon bits
will sell as is offers over 45k, and will consider parting out and selling in stock form
parts listed for sale subject no takers as is
best,
sean

more info
i got the new motor back in -05, so there would be no warranty on it
i have only put 5k miles per year on the car since then. the car has had the upsolute flash of the ecu for the full life of the new engine, without any issues other than another 50 horses or so

keeping car
reverted car to stock cosmetically but kept performance/suspension mods. Having tried a couple of 997tt's it does not seem worth it to me to pay the difference in dough given how my 996 is set up, arguably better. Decided to wait for the 2010tt 3.8 to see if I start again as we did back in the day with the 996
