This Spyder has the right combinations of options which many find most desirable on a Spyder model: sport bucket seats, sport exhaust, sport short shifter and sport chrono. The pricing is a function of how I perceive the uniqueness of this particular custom-ordered vehicle, the desirability of its options and the fact that it's the only Aqua Blue Metallic/Carrera Red Spyder ever sold in the United States! Thus this Spyder might command a higher price, especially if it catches the attention of an individual looking for a vehicle like no other in the marketplace.

By the way jtill75, I really like the Audi R8's too. I spent a day in 2010 at the R8 Driving Experience at Infineon (Sears Point) and got to drive both the v8 and v10 models. I plan to own one someday. Great looking car in my opinion, especially the coupes with the exposed engine bay and the side blades!
