so you're wanting to trade tour gts in for an 09? Which model? Unless you change models and move up to a turbo s, I wouldn't. Just the Bluetooth and nav on an 09 from an 08 isn't worth the difference in $$$$

Tired of it already? - It is a hard market to sell them right now. They are selling for below 70K optioned out because of 09's and the slow market.

I am getting trade in offers of 50K for my 08 at 74K optioned out. I am debating over that right now. At least I have 18K miles on mine. You haven't really put that many miles on it to take such a loss.

Are you looking at another SUV?

So after all that you did to your GTS you are wanting to just sell it?
Personal reasons or are you just tired of it?

If you HAVE to sell it, you gotta do what you have to do.
If you have a choice, you won't get anywhere close to what you put into the car, so I would hold off.

Let me know a little more on what you're thinking as yo spark this question.

.....personal reasons. Don't really have to sell but just doing a little advance prep? Can always buy another, its just a car. It sure would be easier to replicate since I'd know what I'd do to it....

Here's the eBay linky: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/22-Te...QQcmdZViewItem

maybe even take the techarts off and lower the price by that amount if you need to, put the originals back on to save some $$.
Not sure if you have them, or want to, but that would get you in the $70's which might seem more attractive to others.

Good luck man.
You're right, it's just a car.
No sweat/

This is a little un comfortable feeling when I see things like this.

I am sure you are financially stable to keep the car but you are intelligent enough to know that we may go threw some very hard times and you don't need that truck. I just bought a 09 and wondering if I made the right move.

good luck and hope it all goes well.

Ill take your spacers if you put the stocks on

You might be better off holding on, the price your expecting is very high for a private sale.

Thanks guys, unlike Wachovia a hard crash is not eminent however tied together we both are......

I am moving forward with the sale of the GTS and the CLK63 Black Series to better position us in case the worst DOES happen. My wife and I have been blessed with much good fortune over the years and if we have to keep one/both them we could.....

Thanks again for all your well wishes and opinions.

Maybe a little down but certainly not out.
