I need chip help

Hey guys,

I have finally broken in my 2005 turboS cab. I now have about 2000 miles on it. Ive read numerous threads on chipping, and the company that looks very appealing is Revo Technik, which offers 500hp/560torque for around $2500. ImagineAuto also looks good. The turboS has k24 turbos? Any thoughts???

Uprgade your exhaust - Europipe Stage 2 Loud is my choice.
Get the Billet Diverter Valves
Get Stage 4 software - Imagine Auto

If you want a little more fun....
Get your headers cleaned up.
Get FVD Aluminum Intake Plenum
Get EVO Air Box
Get Silicone Boost Hoses

Enjoy, whatever you end up doing!

no personal experience with these but i would do a search.

there have been problems with some.

i have not heard of any problem with RUF. many are happy with there mods .

btw, an upsolute chip at $500 will give you that kind of hp and is very easy to install.

Go with EVE/IA level 4 for 600HP on K24s with an exhaust, air filter and dump valves...
Had it on my TT X50 and loved it!!

Stephen at IA also has GREAT customer service and after-sales support....You can also get the flashloader now which is AWESOME as you never have to even take th ECU out of your car (load programs through OBD II port and you can always go back to stock for those dealer visits making it STEALTH)

I like what I see on EVO's website. You dont even have to remove the ECU? and you can adjust the ECU with a handheld flasher?? Looks cool!!

The programs hae to be loaded first. Once they ar eloaded then you can switch them at will wth the loader. The prorams are not in the hand unit rather loaded at the time of install. The hand unit simply calls those programs up.

all the GIAC dealers sell the same programs, so there is no difference. You should go local...if you go that route. I have used GIAC in many cars and always been very happy with their products. Recently I gave PSI a shot and tried their program out. Their peak numbers may not be quite as high as some, but they make more power than most in more usable places if you compare the curves. I have been nothing but thrilled with the product. the car is a whole new animal. I haven't had a single issue and have been driving it for a few months pretty hard.

check them out...

I'm not sure if this is correct. If you are interested in having your options open for future upgrades to the EVO/IA GT640/700 etc. set up, I believe the upper end software is a proprietary product to EVO and related companies. If you get software from outside of that group, you may not be elligible for a credit towards future upgrades. Something to consider.

Yups that's correct pal... The Stage IV, GT640, GT700 and so on that Stephen, we (Akkurat) and co' sell is all EVO's own packadges. I know that other shops do have other Garrett software obviously.
