Mercedes /AMG Conspiracy Theory

Mercedes /AMG Conspiracy Theory
Can't think of ANY other logical explanation for a car to be "de-tuned" as much as the C63 is from the factory other that there would be no way MBZ would ever sell a C63 Black Edition (or an E63 for that matter) if word got out that these cars had THIS much potential out-of-the-box!
Pre and post dyno tests were done on the same exact dyno with very similar conditions... All that changed was the Kleemann Stage 1 ECU flash
Dyno videos to come!
For those having trouble understanding what they're looking at, this car picked up 75hp and almost 60 lb-ft of torque... on 91 octane!

The C63 is clearly de-tuned but those are exceptional results.
What was the A/F? Both pulls done in 5th gear?
There are C63's with tunes and long tube headers that don't get much more increase than that.
BTW, any of the Black Series have a few more bits than just better tuning. It would likely be the same with a C class or E class.

Stock looks more usable. A lot more torque and HP in stock form lower in the RPM range then with the Kleeman reflash which requires you to get real high in the RPM range to see any real power. If you want your AMG to run like a Honda S2000 do the flash

Those are inflated/exaggerated numbers and don't reflect what you really get out of a Kleemann tune.
It's been proven in 5-10 dynos and by Kleemann themselves that the gains are ~40-50rwhp in 4th.

I do not see where you are seeing loss in power in "stock form". The car gained power throughout the entire RPM range.
We were very surprised to see this much of a gain in power over stock since we are VERY critical of testing before and after calibrations. Since this is a new 2009 C63, Kleemann had to create a file for this ECU. I would be curious to see a 2009 C63 Dyno before and after test to compare because I have yet to see a single 2009 C63 on the dyno or the results.
Personally, I own a 2005 E55 and a 2009 S63, and am familiar with the tunability of these AMG motors. I would like to test another 2009 C63 to see if we get the same results. I drove the car before and after the tune and there is a significant increase in power throughout the RPM range, as proven by our dynapack dyno. It seems to us we have a VERY strong 2009 C63.
Cheers!

The Kleemann flash shows a substantial horsepower and torque increase during the entire RPM range...
Very impressive numbers by the way!!

Isn't the one on the left the stock run and the one on the right the chipped run?

The problem with dyno results this good is, it sets you up for failure. Your results are 25 hp more than other tuners. Knowledgeable gear heads know that the AMG ecu cannot be cracked and you can only do so much with timing, fuel and throtle. So the results are bogus, an operator error, or Kleeman has found a way around the AMG firewall!

ya, true. but a person who wants an E63 wants an E63 because its bigger and nicer then a C63
