I hate not being able to figure this out...

UPDATE: I just spoke with HRE and am going to pass on these wheels. He said it's just too aggressive. For whatever it's worth before I spend this kind of dough on new HRE wheels I tend to dig around a bit for deals. I went to every major city on Craigs list and found these wheels in Austin, TX at a new (non-Porsche) car dealership. The add has since expired. They're almost new and the asking price is $3,195.00 for the set. They say they were mounted on the bosses Turbo for 300 miles. I even think they may deal a bit from this price. If any of you wide body guys are interested, drop me a note and I'll give you the contact info: gregg@atkinsonlighting.com

As a newbie I want you to know that I am trying. I'm reading both current and archives but need to be sure so this question goes out to the experts...

I've got a line on a set of HRE P43 Monobloks for a reasonable price (19X8.5-ET51 & 19X11-ET35). Like so many other's, these were on a wide body and I have a NB 996. I'm unsure of my current (stock) offset/width without peeling the wheels and looking (it rains or snows every day here now). I've been to the cool offset calculator that one of our fellow listers reminds us of and want to use the tool to feel good about myself, but....

I promise I'll get better!

NB OEM 997 19x11 +67 I think the 996 may be similar but with 10" rears - not 11" That could be incorrect but bottom line:

I don't think the widebody wheels are going to work for your application.

It would be nice if you post what you want to put the wheels on.

You can't fit WB wheels on a NB, but you CAN fit NB wheels on a WB with spacers.
