Beautiful car! How did you get the red "S" for the rear? And what color are the front vents painted? They look like the standard black to me.

as far as the S goes, you can order one from your Porsche Dealer then just have it sprayed at a paint shop.

The front inlets are painted Seal Grey also.

I got the foglight bulbs from a local company, but all they are are 4500K H3 PIAA Bulbs. They are able to be found on the net easily.

Thanks to all for the compliments, I am really loving this car. Next up: 3.9L Twin Turbo Engine Conversion....

just kidding

renntech36,

Congratulations! The car looks absolutely gorgeous! A couple of questions from somebody who also just bought their Basalt Black C4S.

- Did you just lower with H&R springs, or were there other components (shocks, etc.)? Specifically, which H&R kit did you buy?

- How much do the H&R springs lower the car from stock?

- Are the foglight bulbs a quick "pull out / plug in" install into the light assembly or is it fairly involved process?

- Where can one pick up the PIAA LED's for the sidemarkers (or do they come integrated into the side markers)?

The car really does look amazing!

Best.

sneaky,
no there is absolutely no rubbing in the wheels. If I decide to get spacers, which I probably won't, there may be a chance of the outer fender rubbing, but I still doubt it too.

Thanks renntech36.

Anybody have thoughts on my other questions:

- Are the foglight bulbs a quick "pull out / plug in" install into the light assembly or is it fairly involved process?

1. ALl that was used is the H and R springs. I don't have any new shocks.

2. The H and R springs lower the car I believe between 1 and 1.4 inches. I am not sure of the exact number.

3. The foglights are very easy to remove. You must take out the headlight, and it just pops out from the rear. It is not difficult at all!

4. The LED side markers are my favorite! They work so good with this car, as the LED points straight to the wheel. They are easily popped in, and they can be gotten at any performance shop which sells PIAA. Also you could get them from PIAA of the net.
