It's going to be a great car though.

Base prices:
Carrera = $75,600
Carrera S = $86,200 !!!

If we get our typical 5% discount, we can get a few electronic goodies for free. This probably won't happen for a few months.

I re read my guessing and anticipated that PDK and and axle lock would cost money. The base price sounds great but doesn't it always (lol) . If one drives off in an 86200 C2S he'll have the engine and body but it's no frills .

In short -- most will want some goodies on the car. It's great info though .

Yes -I have seen and sat in one (on a current 997S late 08 model)-did not go for a ride but just looked at it. I saw the car , asked about the seat , did not ask if they were special ordered but they are like a racing seat . They are extremely light and quite supportive. They are not as comfortable as a sport adaptive and they are manual but they are actually a lot more comfortable tha they look .

Intereresting seat but i would not choose it for myself .

Sport Bucket seats are the same ones offered on the GT2. They fold, so you can still access the rear.

Thanks for the info on the Sport Bucket seats. Do they also recline?

I sat in a new Porsche GT3 seat that was in a 997S at the track and it was not exactly wide enough at the hips. I am thinking the sport bucket seats might not fit me.

Nice PDF to have access to, shows how much a lot of the options depreciate when the car is resold on the current models.

Thanks for posting.

Musts:

-Aerokit

-PCCB
-CF interior
-Full leather
-PSE
-PDK would be nice I think not sure

Discounts are definitely in order... 911 sales are seriously hurtin'.
