Post production shipping and tracking...
I thought I'd post these few websites to help others who are tracking their cars across the pond.
If you are lucky, and the car is shipped via Wallenius Wilhelmsen:
http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do
click on "auto cargo."
For those who have their boat:
http://sailwx.info/shiptrack/index.html
http://www.oceanweather.com/data/
Good luck!

If your VIN doesn't bring up tracking data, then your car is probably being transported by a different shipper. You can still track, but you'll need your dealer to give you the name of the ship and the other web sites to follow your ship.

Mine is the Cepheus Leader and it picked up my car April 2nd. Unfortunately that website does not work with my vin or production number so I must be on a different line? Eric, do you have the schedule for my ship? I think its supposed to dock in San Diego April 29th? Would be nice if I could track it? Porsche needs to take a lesson or two from BMW. Shouldn't be that tough to do? Someone told me Google earth + ship Tracker might work?

I heard there was a ship coming in to Houston on April 20th. Porsche must be using a lot of different cargo companies now. Probably the same line as VW uses for the Port of Houston. I read that VW Group inports 108,000 cars into the Port of Houston.

Still on target for 4/29 arrival in San Diego port.

For those really crazy about tracking, you can use
www.vesseltracker.com
and subscribe to a personal account, then use google earth and track. it's actually very very acurate, but pricey.

These are all estimates, but on the confirmed factory schedule.
