"German Auto Clubs Charity Oktoberfest “Oktober” comes early at World Golf Village when the German Auto Clubs Charity Oktoberfest takes to the Village’s Walk of Champions on Saturday, October 16th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Murray Bros. Caddyshack and Sam Snead’s Tavern will be open throughout the festivities and both menus will feature traditional German fares.
Featuring live German music, over 200 German cars, plenty of food and fun, the Oktoberfest promises to be an event for the entire family. German Auto Clubs Charity Oktoberfest is free and open to the public. For more information, call 904-940-4123."

THE PLAN:
Friday:
Dinner at my house at 6:30. BYOB for an Italian buffett around the pool. Festivities ending around 10:30-11:00.
Saturday
DETAILING
Jon Springer's (JON913D) company Perfection Auto Detailing will be on hand for detailing. Because of time constraints, only quick wash and dry will be available for $15. We will be set-up near the PGA Tour Production building with details starting around 7:30. We will close-up shop around 9:00.
STAGING
In order to park together we must all enter together. We can pre-register during detailing and around 9:00-9:30 organize and move to the show field as a group. All cars must be in place by 10:00am.

Dinner that night will be at Murray Bros. Caddyshack on premises at 6:00pm.
Sunday
Leave around 9:00-10:00am to caravan to Winter Park for the Winter Park Concours d'Elegance. Showing starts at 10am including Lamborghini Murcialago, Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari Enzo, to many more. At 3:30pm the cars will parade by the grand stand in Central Park to receive their trophies. Click here to learn more.
ACCOMODATIONS:
Standard room $159/night:
Available with either 2 double or 1 king bed, normally
Suites $209/night:
Available with either 2 double or 1 king bed, sitting area, and sleeper sofa.
The above rates are net non-commissionable and are per room per night. All rates are subject to applicable taxes (currently 11%). No Resort Fee. Rate will be honored 2 days before and after October 16, 2004
Attendees may call our Reservation Department at 1-904-940-8000 to make their reservation. To ensure the group rate, your attendees must identify the group name, Six Speed Online, and make their reservation no later than 09/30/04.
Each guest will pay for their own room and incidentals. There will be no Master Bill.

I'm in too. I'd like to do both. I think it's only 1 1/2 hours from Jax to Orlando. Is there a website for either event? I used to be a WP cop. Maybe I can get us some "get out of a ticket" passes in case we get caught speeding around town

Did you guys want to just go, or actually enter these events? I emailed the coordinator for the WP one. it's $50 to enter, free to attend. I'm up for going to both either way. I've got a plain jane C2, so it might look silly showing it.
