The Tire Rack Introduces the OZ Alleggerita

As the exclusive US importer for OZ Italy, The Tire Rack is proud to introduce the OZ Alleggerita. Anxiously awaited, this wheel fills many of the performance street and race application voids previously found without spending twice the money. These are low pressure cast and heat treated for strength and carry OZ's reputation for excellence even further. Many sizes are in stock, with Porsche-specific sizing arriving soon. Actual weights are yet to be given to us by OZ in Porsche sizing, but were targeted to be approx. 10% less than the Ultraleggera HLT wheel, and MUCH lighter than OE wheels. Real Carbon Fiber center caps will come with all wheels. Priced in the $4-500 range, these wheels will rival in weight forged wheels over twice the price. Presently available for Porsche in the 18 x 8 - 12" range at this time. With many colors to choose from, expect inventory arriving in early spring. As always, more information will be provided as it arrives.

Get your pre-orders in early! We will not bill you until they arrive and ship. We also carry the full range of Michelin, Kumho, and Hoosier race tires to add to the wheels at no charge for mount and balance. Full heat cycling service also available.

If there is anything I can answer in the meantime please contact me. And, as with any product we carry, please contact me direct to order or use the banner button.

Presently orders are in for Porsche sizing at:

18X8 5-130 ET48
18X8 5-130 ET57
18X8 5-130 ET52
18X8.5 5-130 ET40
18X8.5 5-130 ET53
18X9 5-130 ET43
18X10 5-130 ET40
18X10 5-130 ET65
18X11 5-130 ET63
18X12 5-130 ET45
18X12 5-130 ET68
18X12 5-130 ET51

These will be available for other cars as well.

Why do you have so few size options in 17" for us AX guys? I'd buy a set if you had 17".

Weight update.

ALL I could get from engineers at OZ today was approx 17.5 lb. front 18 x 8.5" and about 18.5 or 19 lb. for 10.5-11" rear.

DAMON!

Awesome news.

Looks like my new set is set:

18x8.5 & 18x11.5

Also what is the best choice of sizes to fit offset for a 997 NB???

Is the above choice going to work with my 997s??

I would prefer: 18x9: & 18x12" if the offsets will work.

Wow - that is extremely light - as light or lighter than forged. How does the strength compare?
