We got a chance to check out this amazing Ferrari at the Amelia Island Concours back in March. Bodied by Pininfarina, this was one of three works Ferraris entered in the vaunted 24 Hours of LeMans and also helped Ferrari win the Manufacturers Championship that same year. Sadly, the car was disqualified from the 24 hour torture-test because it violated an obscure rule (adding brake fluid before the 28th lap). This is also the only works Ferrari to have been driven by THREE world champions, Alberto Ascari, Nino Farina and Mike Hawthorn.

It was the only 375 MM to be fitted with a 4.5L V-12, fed by a triple Weber carburated set-up, and produced 340hp (the other 375’s had 4.1L motors). The car also competed in the 24 Hour of Spa, the Carrera Panamericana, and won the 12 Hours of Pescara. Check out the videos and start saving your pennies… it cost some lucky person about $12.7 million, but will only appreciate… Enjoy!
