Watch as YouTuber’s 2020 Supra makes 200 WHP over stock easily.

Hopefully you’ve been keeping up with our Toyota Supra coverage. There has been a lot of it actually, as you might understand considering a car with as much hype built around it as this one. We recently learned that the Supra B58 is a hell of a motor and is more than capable of making big power. As you might imagine, the Supra at heart is a tuner car. Thus, by definition, people are going to want to tune it and make it their own.

Popular YouTuber Adam Lizotte-Zeisler, host of the Adam LZ YouTube channel, has purchased a 2020 Supra. And he’s been spending big cash on making his Supra as fast as possible in the shortest amount of time. As you might imagine, on the Internet, whoever does it first usually wins the clout battle, so they always have the incentive to go as crazy as possible. In this video, we’ll see how Lizotte-Zeisler managed to squeeze 550+ WHP out of his brand new Supra. Let’s talk details.

2020 Supra Dyno

For those not in the know, Lizotte-Zeisler has been a BMW fan for a long time. When his channel was substantially smaller, Adam LZ featured a lot of content showcasing his BMW E92 335i. And, of course, the 335i featured the predecessor engine to the B58 featured in the Supra: the N54/55. So naturally, the Adam LZ host has some stake in the game.

2020 Supra Dyno

The whole premise of the video is that it’s possible to make big power with a stock motor on a Supra. How does Lizotte-Zeisler manage to do this? Three secret ingredients: downpipes, methanol injection, and a better turbo. You might be thinking, how is it possible that aftermarket tuning companies have managed to produce this many complex products for a car so new? Well, you must remember that the B58 has been available in a variety of BMW products for several years now, so companies really only had to make small changes to adapt to them to the platform.

The Supra is put on the dyno after adding all three of these mods after running a baseline pull at 352 WHP and 417 WTQ stock. The car manages to pull 552 WHP and 521 WTQ. That’s a 200 WHP and 104 WTQ increase over stock with only three modifications. How will the Supra hold up over time? We’ll have to wait and see. For now, I think it’s safe to say that Lizotte-Zeisler is having fun losing traction at the top of third gear.
