The new 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid SUV and Coupe promise immense hybrid-electric power

Porsche unveiled the most powerful Cayenne ever, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. Power is courtesy of a marriage between the Cayenne’s 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor.

The result? A new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid will produce 729 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. Specifically, the revised V8 summons around 591 horsepower, and the electric motor adds 174 horsepower to the mix. As a result, the German automaker says the new Turbo E-Hybrid will hit 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 183 mph.

Moreover, the new Cayenne E-Hybrid SUV and Coupe models pack larger battery architecture, 25.9 kWh versus the previous model’s 17.9. Still, the Turbo E-Hybrid’s onboard 11-kW charger promises to recharge the model’s battery in under two-and-a-half hours.

Standard air suspension and torque vectoring make the new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid capable and comfy

The new 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid will feature the marque’s torque vectoring system (PVT Plus). Moreover, Porsche outfitted the Turbo E-Hybrid with two-chamber adaptive air suspension as standard kit.

As for the optional kit, Porsche will offer the Turbo E-Hybrid with rear-axle steering and dynamic chassis control. Furthermore, the marque will fit the new models with 18-way adjustable leather seats as standard equipment. However, for a more relaxed driving experience, potential owners can opt for plush 14-way adjustable leather Comfort seats.

A 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid won’t come cheap, though

Porsche expects to put the new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid in dealers by Q2 2024. However, the lightning-quick hybrids will demand a premium, not including a $1,650 delivery charge. Specifically, the SUV will start at around $146,900, and the Coupe will be closer to $151,400.
