Snow Way! RedBull Racing Hits the Slopes
As a Formula 1 fan, I long for the days of naturally aspirated V8s and V10s. When drivers pushed their cars to the limits, and where heroes were made, not manufactured.
Today’s Formula 1 is about tire and fuel strategy and turbos that quiet everything down. It’s a travesty and I absolutely abhor it. World Endurance Racing has become the new Formula 1.
However, every so often, a manufacturer brings out one of the old cars, and I remember why I fell in love with the sport all over again. The latest in these marketing ploys was from the folks at RedBull Racing, which brought out the RB7 Formula 1 car with the 2.4-liter V8 and unleashed the racecar on a downhill ski slope with tire chains and everything.
Prepare yourself for a rather short clip of the RedBull racecar piercing your eardrums and sending shivers down your spine. It’s worth every second of the 38 second video.
