Thirty five sports cars, California’s beautiful wine country, hugely talented drivers, and the infamous corkscrew come together for the third round of the 2013 ALMS season. The American Le Mans Monterey presented by Tequila Patron will pound the pavement of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for four hours this Saturday.

In P1, after a disappointing run a Sebring and a second place on the streets of Long Beach, team Dyson will be looking to return to their winning ways. Pickett Racing and Rebellion Racing and Dyson will have new competition in the form of The Delta Wing. The Delta wing makes its first appearance of 2013 with Katherine Legge, making her series debut, at the controls.

In P2, Extreme Speed Motorsports and Level 5 Motorsports have each had a turn atop the podium so far this season. Level 5 Motorsports will be tapping into their experience of winning in Monterey for the past two years.

The GT class is always exciting and now it’s growing. CORE Autosport will be making their GT class debut by throwing their Porsche 911 GT3 RSR into the fray. At Long Beach Team RLL stunned with an impressive 1-2 finish in only their second race. The Corvettes will be out to reclaim the top of the podium as the Ferraris, Vipers, and the Paul Miller Racing’s Porsche all battle for important points.

In the third race of the new Continental Tire PC class, PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports is looking to extend their points lead, while CORE Autosport will battle to get their ORECA FLM09 across the line first.
In the GTC (all Porsche 911 GT3 Cup) class, watch for car number 30 of TRG to see if they can keep their class domination going by making it three wins in three races.

You can catch the racing action live on ESPN3 and Xbox Live at 6:15pm Saturday or a rebroadcast on ESPN2 Sunday at 4:00pm (Times are EDT)
