4 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About the Pagani Huayra

The 2015 Houston Auto Show is full of automotive exotica to make you drool. Aston Martin is there with eight different vehicles. I saw at least two Porsche 918 Spyders as well.
But the real star of the show is a dark blue Pagani Huayra. Kurt Fegraeus, managing partner of Pagani of Dallas, was there answering questions about ownership of the Italian supercar.
- Maintenance comes yearly, and is only a few grand to complete.
Yes, compared to a Toyota Camry, paying a few grand for an oil change seems a bit ridiculous, but compared to the nearly $2,000,000 price of the car, a couple of grand is no big deal.
Also, the service is an engine-in service, which saves a lot of money over some cars where they have to completely remove the engine from the car.

- Many Pagani Huayra buyers actually buy two.
Mr. Fegraeus didn’t even believe it himself when he first got started. But many buyers appreciate more than one combination or configuration, and decides to just get both.
- By the end of 2015, there’ll be approximately 28 on the road in the United States.
Whether or not they’ll actually be on the road, or in a garage, there will be a good number of them in the country considering the price. In a city like Houston, you might see one out of the road if you look in the right places!

- You wouldn’t recognize most of the buyers.
According to Fegraues, the typical Huayra buyer is just a car guy, or girl, who just happens to be able to afford the car and appreciates the features and performance.
They aren’t necessarily buying the car to just be flashy or to show off wealth. Pagani buyers aren’t typically brand fanatics, either. This means they might have Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini vehicles in their collections and they appreciate all of them.
