6 Speed Online Marketplace: Racing Yellow 991 GT3
Looking for your next Porsche? This low-mileage yellow missile should be your next purchase.
Our dream 991 is currently listed for sale right here in the 6 Speed Online Marketplace. It’s fast. It’s rare. Most importantly, it’s yellow.
This 2014 Porsche 911 GT3, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is one of the best models offered in the 991 generation. It’s easily one of our favorites.
The example seen here, offered for sale by its owner, 6 Speed Online member GCBC, is one of the best we’ve ever seen. Low mileage, fresh rubber, and a factory warranty are all tremendous selling points.
This particular 991 GT3 was originally ordered with some great options, too. Inside, you’ll find 18-way adaptive sport seats and matching Racing yellow seat belts, as well as a factory upgraded stereo system. Other options we like are the front axle lift system and extended-range fuel tank, both of which are useful for everyday street driving.
At the end of the day, though, we want it because it’s a Racing Yellow GT3. To us, it doesn’t get any better than that!
Yellow GT3 are our favorites because the upper air vent in the front bumper, combined with the round headlights and yellow paint, make the car look like a 200 MPH smiley face. Seeing this car in our garage would certainly brighten our day.
Of course, if charm isn’t enough for you, there’s hard numbers. This car is plenty fast enough to satisfy anyone. A zero to sixty sprint of just a hair over three seconds. Quarter mile times in the low 11 second range.
Of course, we can’t forget 475 naturally aspirated horsepower from the GT3’s 3.8 liter flat six. That’s still an impressive figure. As the first GT3 without the venerated Mezger-designed engine, the 991 GT3 had its share of critics.
Unfortunately, engine problems materialized early on in the 991 GT3’s life. However, Porsche acted quickly to solve these problems, even offering an extended warranty to owners. These days, a 991 GT3 is a safe bet.
Like many limited edition models, this particular 911 has hardly depreciated from its original sale price. This particular car cost just over $140,000 back in 2014. Now, the seller is asking $123,000 for the privilege of owning this thoroughbred racing machine.
