Eagle-eyed photographers from 9 Magazine have caught another look at the 991 GT3 testing in the wild. This isn’t the first time we’ve gotten a look at the latest GT3, but it’s still nice to see it every now and then. If anything, them testing it out in the snow should be encouraging to future GT3 enthusiasts. You know, just in case you decide to go out on a spirited drive through a blizzard.

We know what to expect from this thing when Porsche finally debuts it next month at Geneva. Like all GT3s before it, it’ll be naturally aspirated, and will weigh significantly less than the normal Carrera. Hopefully, this new model will be on par with the GT3 RS 4.0 in terms of performance. The later being the ultimate street-legal track-focused Carrera you can buy from Porsche. The 991’s chassis improvements should be enough to put the new GT3 within striking distance of it’s predecessor. We don’t even know what kind of power to expect as Porsche has kept mum on the car’s powertrain so far.

You can get a pretty good look at the car from the photos here. Since the reveal is just around the corner, this car is essentially not wearing any camouflage. If you were thinking about getting a GT3 in black, this is as close to a sneak peek as you’re going to get.
