ALMS battles at Road America for round 6, August 11

Road America, in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin, will host the American Le Mans Series, Orion Energy Systems 245 August 11. They’re entering round six out of ten and the on-track action is getting fierce!

In P1 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing has a dominant lead. Dyson Racing is hoping to catch second place Rebellion Racing before their reduced schedule possibly brings them back to competition at Circuit of the Americas in September. DeltaWing Racing is still searching for their first championship points of the season.

The competition, and tension, in P2 keeps growing as Level 5 Motorsports have built a seven point lead over rivals Extreme Speed Motorsports.

It will be interesting to see if PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports can stop Core Autosport from running away with the Prototype Challenge trophy. Just six points cover the three-way battle for third place in the points.

In the immensely popular GT class, Corvette Racing has taken control of the points lead. BMW Team RLL will be fighting hard to stay within championship contention.

In GTC Alex Job Racing and Flying Lizard Motorsports are tied for the class points lead. These two teams are sure to take the points battle right down to the last race of the season unless NGT Motorsports can turn their luck around.
