In P1 Dyson Racing Team has gained momentum, scoring their first championship points of the season during the last round at Lime Rock two weeks ago. Dyson is third in points hoping to close in on second place Rebellion Racing. Rebellion is now running a limited schedule giving late bloomers Dyson a shot at second place. DeltaWing Racing also scored their first championship points of 2013 at Lime Rock. DeltaWing Racing is still working on electrical and mechanical issues that have caused DNF’s in their attempts so far this season.

It’s a close race in P2 with Level 5 Motorsports holding a slim three-point lead over rival Extreme Speed Motorsports. With only two teams vying for the class championship, the close points battle will surely continue right to the final checkered flag of the season.

In Prototype Challenge only two points separate PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports and CORE Autosport. RSR Racing will be hoping to carry their momentum from their win at Lime Rock to another victory this weekend.

In GT, Corvette Racing and the BMW’s of Team RLL are tied for first place. Can the Vipers of SRT Motorsports make a charge for the championship in the last half of the season?

Two weeks ago at Lime Rock, the most consistent team in the GTC class, NGT Motorsports, had a bad weekend, while Flying Lizard Motorsports went on to bring home the win. That victory brought Flying Lizard within one point of NGT’s class lead. Alex Job Racing is in third place by a mere four points.
