Wanna see a GT-R go over 200mph? In a mile? Yeah, I thought so.

The Alpha 12+ is AMS latest attempt at building the fastest GT-R they possibly can. Last year, their Alpha Omega GT-R ran 233 mph at the Texas mile.   Now, they’ve eclipsed their old record by running 237mph at the Moscow Mile.

How’d they do it? Well, the short answer is tons and tons of boost. Enough pressure to elicit 1700 horsepower for the GT-R’s V6.  At this point, I don’t think you could call it streetable. Not that it matters. The fury at which this thing goes is otherworldly. Thankfully, AMS has a pretty cool heads up display recording of the run from inside the car.

See what it’s like to hit 237mph in a mile below.
