AMS Performance Climbs to the Top with Alpha Omega
It seems that every other week, the guys from AMS Performance swap the GT-R quarter mile record with Extreme Turbo Systems, or vice versa. The two shops have been going at it for the crown for the last few years, with ETS coming in at number 1 at their last encounter. That couldn’t stand with the likes of AMS Performance though, and using their Alpha Omega GT-R, they smashed the record once again.
Earlier this year, ETS ran a 7.49 at 189mph with their own GT-R. Now though, according to AMS Performance, the Alpha Omeag GT-R just set a blistering run of 7.485 at 192mph. Oh yeah, and 0-60 took just 1.5 seconds. And as you remember, these are still considered street cars meaning you could potentially see them on your way to work.
Obviously ETS will have a say in this battle soon, so stay tuned for more details. Just so you know, that 7.485 pass makes the Alpha Omega the fastest GT-R in the world.
