Aston Martin CEO Revs the New Vanquish

When you’re  Ulrich Bez, CEO of one of the most prestigious car manufacturers on the planet, you can do whatever you want with your new 2013 Vanquish. That includes revving the hell out of it when its cold. Probably not the best thing for the engine, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t sound wonderful.

The car made it’s debut in brilliant blue yesterday at the McCall Motorworks Revival. Despite the fact that the platform is basically the same as any other Aston, it still looks stunning. Under the hood is Aston’s stalwart 556hp 6L V12. Besides supplying a phenomenal soudtrack while driving, it’ll also get you from 0-60 in about 4 seconds.

It’s got some new carbon fiber bits on it, but we’ve already covered the details of the Vanquish at length. Largely it’s the same car as the outgoing model, but with small tweaks. Similarly to Porsche, they seem to be sticking with a single shape and improving on with every iteration. Which is fine, because that shape is dead sexy.
