Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster Revealed

The V12 is the story here, and puts the Vantage roadster into an extremely small niche. Mercedes kinda does the same thing this with the SL65 AMG. But who’s going to  cross shopping those two. The SL65 is  sleek, in a teutonic kind of way. Aston Martin’s are more emotional. At least they inspire emotion more than a Benz does, even if it isn’t as fast. Their rarity might be part of their appeal and the V12 Vantage isn’t going to be bucking that trend. Only 101 will be made. Not quite as limited as the One-77, but it’s close.

Of course, you’ll only need to worry if you have to the $180,500 to blow on it in the first place. For all that cash you’ll be getting about 510 horsepower, a six-speed stick, and a whole lot of carbon fiber. It’s not an official “release” but we imagine we’ll be seeing more info about this car in short order.
