The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is Here
Aston Martin has now been building the Vantage for what seems like three decades. However, in all that time, the car has never gotten old looking, or even less pretty compared to newer supercars.
It has remained one of the best aging cars on the planet. With all that in mind, Aston Martin has decided that it needs a slight refresh in terms of the car’s styling and overall demeanor.
Enter the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Special Edition.
To start off, Aston’s 6.0L V12 has been upgraded to pump out a massive 600 horsepower. That all comes down to the car’s new intake manifold, torque tube made of magnesium, and a fully titanium exhaust system that exits out the center of the car.
The interior has also been worked through quite effectively. Both the center console, and bucket seats have been replaced, all of which are carbon fiber units.
Additionally, to save more weight, the doors, hood, front fenders,roof, and trunk have been replaced with carbon fiber pieces as well. Add an optional Plexiglas rear window and you’ve got a car around 3,400 lbs.
The overall exterior of the car definitely looks jaw dropping, and we can’t wait to see how it does around a track.
