Video: 20-Year-Old Crashes Aventador SV in London Street Race
The Lamborghini Aventador SV features a 12 cylinder engine, which produces an astonishing 750 horsepower. It also packs the latest and greatest in carbon composite braking technology, and extra-shouty aero fixtures.
None of that. I repeat, none of that mattered when it came time to slow down this Aventador SV during a silly street race. According to this video by Car Daily, a 20-year-old-driver was fooling around with a Bentley Continental GT, playing silly drag races from stop light to stop light in downtown London.
The driver of the Aventador SV seems to miss a beat during the first race, which probably caused the whole ordeal to begin with. As a result, the Bentley gained an edge on the raging bull, and score a slight win. The second time around the Lamborghini got off to a better start, but it was the braking that he totally failed.
The person who shot this video unfortunately recorded this in vertical form, and at times sideways and even upside down. Consequently, it’s hard to follow the action, but the final scene and the money shot are pretty clear.
It seems the Lamborghini SV driver celebrated his victory early, and forgot to brake on time. The result? He smashed into a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and Vauxhall Astra. Thankfully there were no reported injuries.
