A Beautiful Interpretation of the Jaguar Mark 2
There has never been a more appropriate use of the phrase, “shut up and take my money” then the redesigned resto mod that is Ian Callum’s Jaguar Mark 2. Well, that is until I tell you how much it is, but you will just have to wait for that.
The new car is a completely gutted and resto modded out Jag Mark 2 sedan. It features a brand new 4.2L V6 from the XK, all new interior, all new wiring, and a whole host of cosmetic and design changes throughout the car. The car’s been lowered 30 mm and sits on a set of custom 17-inch knock off rims with modern rubber attached.
The work was carried out by Callum and a team of guys from Classic Motor Cars Limited in the UK. The car is utterly stunning and is just being begged to be in a bank job or something from the 70’s.
My favorite part is the interior, it’s just beautiful. The craftsmanship of the gauges, the toggles, and the dash is plain amazing. It almost doesn’t fit with the outward appearance of the car, beautiful it may be, it almost looks like a Rolls interior, and that’s the highest compliment I can give.
Now that I’ve teased you and got you wondering how to get one, let’s talk turkey. Price on this baby, if you want your very own version because this one’s Ian’s, will run you from $572,000-$616,000. Wowzers.
But when you have a car that looks this good inside and out, and will show up most supercars in terms of eyes popping out of people’s skulls, it’s an easy decision to make. So long as you have the money.
