Best AWD car for under $30k?

I love AWD cars so much. I love their versatility. I love that they can handle any of nature’s weather offerings, providing equal fun in fair weather or foul. When I was 24 I worked 2 jobs and saved up to buy a 2006 Subaru WRX STI, Aspen White with gold BBS wheels.

AWD wasn’t that common back then, but now you can get it in anything, even “normal” cars like the Chrysler 300. The drive-train itself isn’t special anymore, so that means you have to look for special cars.

So, what’s the best all-wheel drive car you can buy for less than $30,000? That’s the topic that Mike Spinelli, founder of Jalopnik and a host on The /DRIVE Network, and /DRIVE producer Ian Whelan chose to discuss today.
