The Best Porsche 918 Photos You Will See Today
If I had just one day to drive any modern car I wanted, it would easily be the 918. I am a Porsche fan at heart, and everything about the look, speed, noise, and technology that create the 918 is something that I need to experience in my life. I physically ache with anticipation when I really start to think about how it might be to drive such a machine.
Until the day I get to actually get behind the wheel of one of these phenomenal cars, I will have to entertain myself with as many photos and videos of the car as possible. As luck would have it, there happens to be an insanely good gallery of shots from the California Festival of Speed a few weeks ago in our forums. The car is from @ItsWhiteNoise and it has a lovely set of changes and additions that make it even more epic.
Tucked under those bulging fenders is a set of HRE alloys that look better than any factory Porsche options, and the naked carbon weave on the removable top and the rear wing look sharp with the deep black paint on the rest of the car. If you make it through to the end of the gallery, there is even a little cameo by a couple of Carrera GTs, the closest relative to the 918 in Porsche’s recent history.
Did I mention how much I want to drive one of these? Please disregard my drool, I can’t help myself.
