BlackHorseTurbo’s Porsche Wins Texas Invitationals
Last week, mega horsepower cars from around North America met up in Texas for the Texas Speed Syndicates, Texas Invitationals. It’s an all out speed battle with cars ranging from 800 horsepower at it’s lowest level, to well above 2,000 horsepower at its highest. The cars that come here reign brimstone and hellfire down on all those that come after them on the streets, and one of our good friends absolutely demolished it last week.
Using a Porsche 911 Turbo, BlackHorseTurbo Racing went up against some of the biggest heavy hitters there and ripped them a new one. While being an underdog at the event since they were running a Porsche, since the last event rained out in April, BHT had all of that time to test and tune, meaning they were ready for a battle.
According to their driver, they went up against a bunch of heavy hitters, including a twin turbo Viper, a 1500 horsepower GT-R, and a few others, but after a little bit of luck, and a lot of engineering sweat and blood, they came out with the trophy. You can watch some of the battles below, they’re fairly ridiculous.
