Drag Rivals: BMW M3 vs Cadillac ATS-V
Rewind to a few decades ago, and high-performance sedans were basically unheard of. Sure, there were already a few powerful 4-doors like the M5 and a few AMG models, but they were only that—powerful, not high-performance.
Fast forward to present times, and we have European, American, and even Japanese sedans that lap race tracks as fast as high-performance coupes. Two of those sedans are shown on this video by, DragTimes, where we can see the iconic BMW M3 battle his new-found enemy; the Cadillac ATS-V.
These drag rivals are what dreams are made of. On one end we have a turbocharged BMW engine capable of producing 425 horsepower, and on the other lane a massive twin-turbocharged American motor capable of producing 464 horsepower.
I won’t spoil the video for ya, but just remember that although the Cadillac has an over 200 horsepower advantage, it also weights nearly 300 pounds more than its German rival.
Who wins?
