What it's Like to Hit the Track at BMW's M Track Days

Our colleague over at 5 Series got the full bimmer motorsport experience racing BMW’s savage lineup of ///M cars.

Recently, one of our writers at our partner site 5 Series spent a day at BMW’s M Track Day. In addition to making us jealous; he got instruction from some of the VIP racing pros, tore up the track for a number of racing events, and got lots of enviable lap time. All this while he was experiencing the power and agility of driving BMW M high-performance models.

BMW’s Track Days program is almost done for the season, but if you are interested in checking it out, California’s Thermal Club is hosting the final event for 2019 on October 10-16. And it is never too early to plan for next year, which will include the much-anticipated 2020 BMW M3.

Our writer hit the track at the Monticello Motor Club in Monticello, New York. He spent the day doing drag racing, autocross, lead/follow laps and more. Plus he did comparing different models of competition and high-performance M BMW cars.
