Buy the Ultimate Manchild Toy – 007’s Aston Martin DB10

While some men hope to be bitten by a mutant spider so they can become Spider-Man, others work really hard to amass enough financial wealth to buy some serious toys. But I’m not talking about lifted Jeep Wranglers or Jet Skis, I’m talking about stuff that would make Bruce Wayne—or in this case, James Bond proud.

Well, today is your lucky day! Technically Feb. 18 is, because on that day you’ll be able to to bid on the only Aston Martin DB10 from the 007 Spectre movie ever offered to the public. And if that wasn’t cool enough, it features a proper six-speed manual transmission paired to a 4.7 liter V8. Though it is a right-hand drive vehicle, so that may take a little getting used to.

The world famous Christie’s Auction House has been chosen by the British car maker to find this movie-star a home of its own, but it comes with a catch. Since Aston only produced 10 of these cars, the DB10 itself has not been homologated, which means it’s not meant to be legally registered or driven on public roads (aside from show car lawns). Darn it!

Still, there are still plenty of cool things to do with this DB10, like when your friends are showing off their new iPhones, you can show them your James Bond car. Plus, all 1.4 million dollars (expected amount) will benefit the Doctors Without Borders charity.

If you’ve got the money, want a super cool car you can’t drive on the streets, and want to benefit charity, Feb.18 is your day to shine!
