Carlisle Import Nationals Has the Hottest Rides Near and Abroad
Annual car show roars into spring with all the imports and performance cars we want; plus tributes to Opel, Volvo, and JDM power.
The 2021 Carlisle Annual Import & Performance Nationals will be taking place on May 14-15 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This year’s show will be an international showcase of performance, horsepower, and automotive innovation. With vehicles repping over a half-dozen countries, eras represented will include classics and modern marvels.
Carlisle has a lot of fun packed into the event. Activities include vehicle displays, show car competitions, car limbo, drift limbo, rolling exhaust contest, autocross, and more.
If that doesn’t lure you in, then the showfield will. Packed with a staggering range of cars; it affords attendees to opportunity to see, experience (and maybe buy) these rides up close, and under the hood.
It is a wonderland of import and performance cars, and includes muscle cars, race cars, custom builds, rare classics, and one-of-a-kind wonders.
In keeping with the “Around the World” theme, Carlisle has parked each marque by country. Obviously we expect to see England, Germany, France, Japan, Korea, the United States, Italy, and Sweden in attendance.
As part of this international showcase, guests can walk the grounds and have a special passport stamped by International Ambassadors–all while checking out a sweet Supra.
2021 spotlights include a big Volvo celebration, 20 years of the Honda K-Series, 30 years of the Toyota 2JZ engine, and the Opel Manta. Opel will be celebrating its 50th birthday with an Opel Nationals meet.
Vendors will be on hand selling pieces, parts, and collectibles geared to import and performance enthusiasts. Cars, guests, and car clubs are expected to show up with some truly epic rides. And if you are looking for inspirations; or just to sate your horsepower hunger, this is the cure for what ails you.
