Custom BMW R NineT is a Tattoo Wunderbar
What happens when you give a BMW R nineT to an acclaimed Spanish tattoo artist and say, “have at it?” You get one of the most beautiful works of kinetic art you can imagine. The BMW in question is one of the company’s R nineT platforms, originally built for artists like Marco Manzo to imbue their personal design touch to the bikes. It also was used to show off a ton of master builder’s creations. But this particular R nineT is something completely different from the others.
Instead of hacking, welding, modifying, and generally adapting the bike to new parts, Manzo used his breathtaking tattoo skills to bring together both machinery and art. As an artist, Manzo prefers to play with light and shadow, and the bikes amazing gas tank is evidence of that skill. The surface of the bike contrasts with the metal and leather throughout the bike, and give it a decidedly steam punk feel in the best way possible.
Now excuse me, I need to fly to Italy to get a few more tattoos.
