Daigo Saito’s Lamborghini Murcielago Drift Car Unleashes Its V12 Tire Destruction
Lamborghinis aren’t usually meant to be drifted. They’re honestly not usually meant to be driven hard either. They’re just pretty works of art that you can stare at for hours at a time, drooling and nonsensically talking about how you should really start thinking about robbing a bank to pay for one. However, there is a man. A man from Japan that believes that Lamborghinis are meant to be driven hard, and drifted. That man is Daigo Saito.
Saito is a Formula D champion, and a complete lunatic. He’s known for his off track antics, and for building some of the sickest drift cars on the planet. Recently, he got his grubby drift hands on an ex-Liberty Walk Lamborghini Murcielago. After looking at the car for a period of time, he decided that what the V12 monster supercar needed was more steering angle and less of an interior. What happened next is pure awesomesauce.
What you are looking at is a pro-drift built Lamborghini Murcielago drift car. Complete with V12 motor that makes 650 horsepower, and enough steering angle to make a trapezoid jealous, the monster of a drift car made its first drift debut just recently. Here we have that first run coming up against a Lexus LFA drift car that’s powered by a NASCAR tuned V8 motor.
Life is surely grand these days, isn’t it?
