David Beckham, Carnies and Triumphs: Say What?
You’d think that selling clothing would bring about a certain way of advertising. The typical, let’s show it on a good looking model with a photo shoot or video of said model living a life more grand than yours because he or she is wearing their stuff.
Well, from the looks of this teaser of a movie made by Belstaff with David Beckham we really don’t know what to think anymore. However, there may be a hidden nugget of a new Triumph model in that very confusing preview of OUTLAWS.
Well, it might be a teaser for a full version of OUTLAWS, but that probably isn’t the case unless they are going the same route as BMW did with The Hire. However, if you didn’t read the description that Belstaff Films included, you wouldn’t know what’s going on in this trailer.

Reminds me of a few drugged out scenes from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, however this is how Belstaff Films describes its upcoming maybe/maybe not film. “Belstaff Films presents OUTLAWS. A surreal film within a film starring David Beckham as the Stranger – a mysterious drifter and motorcycle stuntman…” That’s it.
Between the bearded lady, weird carnies and the dude with a blind eye; I would never have guessed that Beckham was some sort of “mysterious drifter and motorcycle stuntman.” Belstaff also has a clothing line called “Outlaws Collection” that includes a $95 t-shirt that you can wear under your $1995 leather jacket.
Though, that’s not really the thing that caught our attention. It’s the Triumph and rumor has it this is the 2016 1100-cc Bonneville. This one may also be “Street Tracker” version that sports twin-discs with Brembo calipers and Ohlins shocks. If so, this is a very open sneak peek of this brand new retro line that Triumph is doing.
This also isn’t the first time that Belstaff, Beckham and Triumph have teamed up and with this film set to debut on September 22 and the announcement of the new Bonneville coming up; there may be more to this “film” than we’re lead to believe.
