DeadMau5 Does Gravel Donuts in a McLaren P1
The DJ known as DeadMau5, also known as Joel Zimmerman, has quickly become the darling of the automotive media. Not only because he wrapped his Ferrari 458 with a Nyan Cat livery, or that he renamed said 458 as a Purrari. But also because he’s quickly stockpiling a fairly awesome number of collector cars to his fleet. And unlike some celebrity car collectors that never drive their machines, Joel does.
This last week was the Gumball 3000 where DeadMau5 took his brand new McLaren P1 and romped it across the deserts of California and Nevada in a lovely ace of spades livery. And during that time, a time which also included a run through Death Valley, Zimmerman took his awesome hypercar out onto the salt flats and had a bit of fun.
