Disney Ain’t Got Nothing on These Comic Cars

AutoEvolution decided to have a little fun recently, which is apparently the reason they created an awesome gallery of caricatured cars. Or perhaps AE just found a treasure trove of images on Imgur. Or maybe both.

Whatever the case may be, we’re glad they did create such a gallery. Cause this is a lot of fun. If you think your car has a distinct personality (why wouldn’t she?), check out the photos below and see if the cartoonist nailed it. Odds are good your ride will be represented in some form, as there’s nearly 40 drawings.

As AE points out, instead of using the front windshield as the caricature’s eyes, like in Disney’s Cars, the artist (or perhaps artists, credit just goes to Imgur) uses the front headlights for the eyes, allowing the whole front fascia to be expressive as well. It really works, creating not just anthropomorphic cars, but all sorts of different car-like creatures.

And we’re not just talking supercars here, though plenty of those are given illustrative life. Jeeps, Scions, and Mitsubishis happily co-mingle with Ferraris, Bugattis and Porsches. As it should be in an animated world, where Lamborghinis look like fish and BMWs like rodents.
