Dream Garage: Lofted Garages for Singaporean High Society
If you’ve ever spent time in an urban setting, you probably understand the horror of owning an expensive car in densely populated area. There are endless concerns. Parked on the street? Better be make sure you won’t get a ticket. Parked in a parking garage? Better hope that some inattentive jerk doesn’t scuff your car on the way out. The city is a minefield of first-world problems when you have a car that costs more than a Nissan Versa. Lofted parking allows you, literally, rise above the madness.
The price is predictably high as well. The apartments cost between $15 and $24 million. That price range covers two options. A normal (if you can call any of this normal) apartment can hold two cars in it’s garage space. A penthouse will keep up to four of your cars safe from the warzone that is public parking. I can imagine how useful something like this might be in New York. This particular building is located in Singapore, but I don’t have to live there to understand what they were thinking.
