F12 Berlinetta Shows Off for the Camera on Track
With the 599 on the way out, it’s time to see how it’s successor, the F12 behaves on the track. To date, the 6.3L V12 is the most powerful engine that Ferrari has ever built. It makes 730hp and 530 torque while managing to be lighter than the 599 GTO. Taking all that it to account, it shouldn’t be a surprise that it looks perfectly at home running around a track.
It won’t be sitting on top of the Ferrari totempole for long though. The magnificent V12 in the Berlinetta will get a tune-up before finding it’s way into the new Ferrari Enzo. That car will probably have around 800hp; fitting, considering it is the flagship. Though, we imagine the F12 will be the car best suited to “normal” driving habits. Normal meaning not driving the nurburgring as a part of your daily commute.
