Ferrari 458 Crashes on the Corkscrew, Flips at Laguna Seca

The corkscrew at Laguna Seca is a notoriously tricky bit of track, and during this year’s Ferrari Challenge, driver Ryan Ockey had a particularly bad time with it. It’s unclear what happened exactly, but given that it barely looks like the car slows at all, I’d like there was some kind of brake problem—he came in way, way too hot. Fortunately, he’s fine, but the Italian Stallion is didn’t fare well and was dragged out of the trap upside down. Of course, it still probably looks better than this one.

The first video shows the entire crash, but the quality sucks. The second has more high-quality footage and gets the impact and the aftermath.

Head over to the forum to see what folks are saying about this crazy crash!
