Ferrari Owner Goes to Denver, Buys Another Ferrari

Ferrari owner returns to Florida with a certified pre-owned 458, spends most of the video going over the sticker.

What would you do if you bought a Ferrari? You’d definitely show it off, of course. You might even take it out to the track or drag strip for some exercise. But would you spend time going over the sticker with your friends?

That’s what one YouTuber did. Rob Feretti (a.k.a., superspeedersRob) was in a Denver Ferrari dealership not too long ago, having a 360 “PPI’ed” when he happened upon a certified pre-owned 2012 458 with 12,100 miles on the odometer. Some talking and check-writing later, he bought “the right car at the right time.”

Feretti says he got a good deal on the 458, having spent only $182,500 on the clean and well-maintained Ferrari. He’s also a fan of the 458’s wheels, which happen to differ from those of the 2010 458. To Ferretti, the 2012 wheels “are the best wheels they make for the 458.” He adds that the car is a match to the 360 Spyder he just bought, black interior and all.

He then walks over to a stack of files to pull out the 458’s window sticker, pointing out the original $288,980 price of the car, the beginning of his breakdown of the “$60,000 in options” the 458 has, and whether or not he’d actually pay for each one. The brake calipers, for example, are $1,400, something Feretti is not a fan of. He’d definitely would pay for the front suspension lift system, though, as it’s job is to protect the front splitter from deeply angled transitions to the street.

After spending a few minutes looking his gift black stallion in the mouth, Feretti finally gets in his 458 to deliver the glorious noise from the 4.5-liter, 562-horsepower V8, as well as demonstrate the wonderful lift system designed to protect the car’s chin from the tarmac. And as much as going over the sticker may have been interesting to some, we think he should just enjoy the forest of palm trees under the Florida sun in his 458.
